Actors’ Prize Finals: 10 April 2026 (with Semi Finals 9 April 2026) | Venue: CAA, Bedford Street, London

This year, for the first time, all entrants were invited to submit a “Self Tape” video, and the Semi-Finalists were welcomed in person on 9 April in London.

Requirements included:

• Competitors are asked to prepare a themed programme of up to eight minutes from memory, including at least one poem and a piece of prose from the vast wealth of English-language literature.
  This should be presented with imagination. Entrants may, if they wish, include an unaccompanied song in their programme.
• The entire programme must be delivered from memory.
• The programme will be the same for both rounds.

The judges will be looking for a technically sound and expressive use of the speaking voice to give clarity and fluency of delivery, combined with an imaginative use of material and an ability to take the audience on a dramatic journey.
