Adrian Thompson performs the Prizewinning Songs from the “Sarah Leonard Competition”
Alongside our prizewinners you will have the opportunity to hear our new Chair the internationally acclaimed Tenor Adrian Thompson, with pianist Stephen Gutman perform the Sarah Leonard songwriting prize songs.
The programme will bring together song, poetry and spoken performance, celebrating talented young artists and the expressive power of the English language.
We are delighted to present our prizewinner in partnership with Song in the City, whose work brings outstanding song performance to audiences across London. The Wordsong prizewinners concert opens Song in the City’s 2026–27 season.
